This was my first acrylic portrait painting, created as a heartfelt gift for a dear friend who was navigating a difficult phase and in need of healing. She shared that this painting has been a constant source of motivation throughout her journey, inspiring strength and growth.

The name Athalia is a beautiful representation of strength and grace, encompassing qualities of tenderness, honesty, and fragility—symbolized by the butterfly.

The butterfly holds profound spiritual meaning, symbolizing transformation, rebirth, and personal evolution. Much like the metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a butterfly, the healing journey mirrors this process of change, helping individuals find peace, gain new perspectives, and embrace a more authentic self.
